Six Democratic candidates in Virginia Beach will make a joint appearance Sunday to discuss the chaos that erupted in Charlottesville yesterday.
The candidates will speak at 3 p.m. at the party’s coordinated campaign office at 5600 Virginia Beach Blvd, according to a news release.
The candidates in attendance include Kimberly Anne Tucker, House of Delegates’ 81st District; Leigh Anne Bowling, House of Delegates’ 82nd District; Veronica Coleman, House of Delegates’ 84th District; Kelly Fowler, House of Delegates’ 21st District; John Bell, Sheriff; and Susan Bates Hippen, Treasurer.
After the appearance the candidates will join a unity vigil set to begin at 4 p.m. at Central Park near Town Center.
